Forest type is mixed conifer, predominantly lodgepole pine.

Forest vegetation management treatment is thinning to reduce fuels by reducing the number of trees and ladder fuels.

This area was identified as a high priority “community at risk” and vegetation was treated to reduce fuels adjacent to a local subdivision.
