TAXONOMY:
The scientific name of fringed sagebrush is Artemisia frigida Willd.
(Asteraceae) [53,66,71,74,85].
Numerous ecotypes of fringed sagebrush are known over its broad range, but it is
not known to hybridize with other Artemisia spp. [90].
