AQM Professionals

The USFS AQM community includes professionals in a variety of disciplines: Procurement, including GS-1102 Contract Specialists, GS-1105 Purchasing Agents, and GS-1106 Procurement Technicians; Grants and Agreements, including GS-1109 Grants Management Specialists and GS-1101 Grants Management Technicians; and Asset Management, including GS-1101 (and other series) Property Management Specialists and GS-1101, 1102, and 1170 Leasing Officers. Acquisition Management Trainee Program

The Acquisition Management Trainee Program is a three to four year program designed to develop future agency acquisition leaders. Trainees will work in one of four AQM career fields, including Contracting, Leasing, Grants and Agreements or Asset Management. Participants are trained via on-the-job and formal training, mentoring, shadowing, and other career development opportunities that will help develop them as acquisition professionals.
