Adaptive Management Services in Brief:
Planning Section

We offer wildland fire managers a wide variety of technical skills and operational qualifications to support your suppression, prescribed fire and all-risk programs. We provide:

  • Burn plan development and technical review
  • Project lay-out and mapping
  • Fire management plan development
  • Fire behavior assessments
  • Fuel treatment interaction evaluation and reporting
  • Fuels analysis and specialist reporting
  • NEPA specialist support including fire, fuels, geology, soils, hydrology, groundwater,
    botany, invasive species, wildlife, fuels, smoke, writer/editor
  • NEPA ID team lead and/or support
  • Air quality analysis
  • Roads/transportation inventory and analysis
  • Wildland fire hazard and risk assessment
  • Fire behavior modeling, training and technical support
  • Prescribed fire operational support

  • Incident Commander, Type II
  • Fire Use Manager
  • Burn Boss, Type I
  • Fire Behavior Analysts
