Experience
- Gail has nearly twenty years of experience in hydrologic and geologic investigations and remediation for both the private and public sectors. I have been responsible for geologic and hydrogeologic investigations for water supply, mine waste, hazardous waste, and slope stability issues at numerous sites in California, Nevada, and Arizona. My project experience includes: digital mapping from aerial photographs and paper maps; preparation of GIS maps for inclusion in TERRA database; cumulative watershed effects analyses on soils and hydrology for NEPA documentation; erosion control recommendations for construction and other surface disturbance activities; ground and surface water studies for ground and surface water contamination and water supply; ground and surface water quality monitoring design and implementation; solid and hazardous waste characterization; geologic investigations for contamination and slope stability studies; environmental assessments for property transfer; permitting, regulatory compliance, and closure plan assistance for mine, contaminated sites, and landfills; and remediation design for soil and groundwater contamination. My responsibilities include Contracting Officer Representative and Inspector services; interaction with clients, contractors, and regulators; preparation of permits, workplans, and reports; and coordinating field and GIS activities. I have had basic firefighter and BAER training and have a current Red Card.
